The return trip looks interesting-booked through to Kirkstall Up Loop then back to Keighley/Keighley Worth Valley. Presumably Kirkstall to Keighley behind the diesel attached at Skipton. Bonus mileage and rare track for the passengers! I'm guessing this is to do with crossovers-presumably the one at Kirkstall is in gauge for Scotsman whereas the one at Keighley is not? Is anyone on here more or better informed?

ECS to Kirkstall, no bonus mileage (except for crew!) :-(

That marries up with the times quoted to get the passengers back up the Worth Valley, but leaves me wondering by what means?

Nice to see there actually was some sunshine-watching the news on the Beeb last night the coverage kept linking Scotsman's seemingly drab day with footage of Tornado's sun-bathed adventure from a few weeks back.
