Just like that eh..... Some of you want to get a reality check, and see how stupid your comments sound. Although the current regime does not seem ideal, and i wish burned bridges could be rebuilt, this apocalyptic reasoning is plain...

My understanding from previous discussions on here is that heritage railways are required to manage the risk, but that one way they can do so is to keep all lineside structures and vegetation far enough away from the track. Provided that they...

That accusation rings very true for some organisations discussed on here, but it is not clear to me how the way the A1 Trust has been run recently is in anyone's interests. What could the present trustees be getting from it that would motivate...

Two photos of Thursday's outing. [img] Speeding towards Teynham, between Sittingbourne and Faversham. [img] On the coast at Capel Le Ferne footbridge, unfortunately checked by a p-way slack between here and the tunnel into Folkestone.

Several recent videos have shown Tangmere's exhaust sounding very uneven. I'm aware of criticisms of the steam reverser on an unrebuilt Bulleid, but wouldn't that result in the wrong cutoff on all three cylinders rather than the very uneven valve...
