With load 4 even it’s basically full power from the point the point the tail lamp clears the signal box with an easing over the Butts. With load 5 it’s basically flat out all the way for the full 15mins section. Some 20s will just keep to 25, and...

What would these complications be? Peak Rail already run on Network Rail track to access platform 2. A trap point at the end of platform 1 would prevent any runaways onto the run round loop.

This was something I weighed up before booking the Great Western with Vintage Trains. Despite it being £250, steam mileage wise it was equivalent to 3 or 4 tours when you look at what is being advertised elsewhere.
