I believe a decision on the Overnight is still to be taken at the moment so I don’t think there’s a confirmation either way. Like with many a things heritage at the moment it’s all balancing costs, and running an overnight service is not always...

That would be a sensible approach if that was adopted generally. It could even be expanded to say something like 'Please do not lean out of windows between Grosmont and Whitby due to close lineside foliage."
