Great news regarding the sponsorship of the side tanks and the rear tank-bunker looks splendid already!

I've shamed myself into just getting on with it - cheque is now in the post!

This project just goes from strength to strength. Its now clear that with virtually all the tinwork funded and over £150k raised towards the boiler that the Loco should get completed within a sensible timeframe. I really must go and visit them down at the SVR in the next few weeks.

You should be in very good company Camraman, there will be plenty more 82045 members and supporters on The Eardington Explorer on April 17th.

The event has put up the 'sold out' signs, three full months before departure !

Tickets and a full program of the days events will be dispatched to all passengers in the middle of March. Bring your camera, ear muffs, trainers (optional) and a brolly !

All profits towards 82045s spectacular boiler appeal.

I know that a bunker and back end of a cab doth not a steam locomotive make, but that is just excellent! What a superb statement for this project. Quality indeed.

I know, but when you add in the frames, wheels, cylinders, and the fact that they're half way to funding the boiler and aim to be pressing go on that asap...:)

The SVR's annual "Members & Shareholders" weekend on 11th/12th April ( a slight misnomer, the behind the scenes access is open to everyone) should be a good time to view the progress on 82045 at Bridgnorth.
The 82045 Trust AGM is coincidentally being held at the Kidderminster Railway Museum at 14-oo on the Saturday.
