    Not too enticing? 2 black manors, 2 black 7f's, a black 4f, a black standard 4, (is 7714 black too) and a 6 coach rake of blood and custard at last? And (hopefully), all the right way round? Very enticing in my eyes.

    This looks like a great gala. The black pannier is a great draw for me; I never really got over the departure of 6412.

    Same weekend as Ffestiniog Victorian Weeekend gala - I may be greedy and do both!

    Witherslack Hall looked great in Black all those years ago on the GCR. In fact the "blackness" of this gala may make me favour it over the GCR's this time.

    Not particularly attracted by the blackness but 75014 is one I have never seen in action so that may attract me. On the other hand the Great Central looks enticing too. Decisions, decisions..........

    The Quantock Belle is to be formed in set ‘D’. Full English Breakfast will therefore be available aboard the following trains, served until 15.00 hrs each day:

    Saturday 7th October

    09.00 BL to MD

    10.30 MD to BL

    Sunday 8th October

    09.40 BL to NF

    10.15 NF to MD

    FO 3108 Meteor will offer non-dining First Class accommodation throughout the event, for a small supplement fare (formed in set ‘D’).
