    Amerton Railway will be running a Diesel Gala this year on the 17th and 18th May. There will be a raft of exhibits ranging from stationary engines to demonstration freight trains. Come along and see our amazing mix of internal combustion locomotives. We're going to start and run everything that starts and display everything that doesn't. Its a brilliant chance for you to come along and see our lesser-seen locomotives stretching their legs!

    There will be regular passenger trains running throughout the day and depending on available equipment, the Minworth Motor Rail and Deutz will be assisting Gordon and Dreadnought on passenger trains. So this is a rare chance to ride behind locomotives which never run passenger trains normally.

    Fares will be the same for single trips, £2.20 for adults, £1.70 for concessions and £1.50 for children. We will also be offering a £5 day ticket which allows unlimited travel all day.
