Join us at the Middleton Railway for a day of diesels featuring some our more unusual diesel fleet.

Trains will be hauled during the day (subject to availability) by:

    LMS 7051 John Alcock
    D577 Mary
    D631 Carroll

Both the freight and passenger sets will be in use, with both sets planned to run over both the Park Halt and Balm Road lines.

Driver for a Fiver will be in operation at Moor Road using Hunslet 1786 'Courage'. This locomotive will also appear on the last passenger working of the day.

Just a reminder to everyone that our Mechanical Maddness diesel day is this Saturday. Trains run every half hour from 11.00 until 16.30. All trips (except the 11.00 and 16.30) cover the full line including the Balm Road branch down to Network Rail.

Hunslet "Courage" is making a rare outing on a passenger train, working the 11.00 to Park Halt and the 16.30 to Balm Road. During the rest of the day it will be operating on Driver for a Fiver experinces at Moor Road.

Hope to see some of you there.

    Andy
