    A bit harsh ............ well maybe. Years ago there was a good article in the Railway Magazine and mileposts were very much the key.

    Back on the subject of the lack of 8P traction. Is the P2 going to provide us with a class 9P? Or perhaps even better?

    The good news on 8Ps for 2015 is that we get 6201 back and I guess you can look on 35018 as a substitute for 35028. Actually it'll be better than that as at least we will get Merchant 18 on stuff we can afford to travel on.

    for the future 60532 will be back. that's another class 8, which is probably what you need in the future.

    Think that their 'Ching-o-meter' might take quite a hit if they decline to operate it. Maybe the owners will take their business elsewhere anyway ...
