The amazing thing about 34092 is that the footage of the loco on the S&C is back than and with today's video technologies we shall have see to see and hear the comparision.

34067 did a Cumbrian Mountain express April 2012 in top form Slipping on Shap though and also some very good noise had up to the top of Ais Gill.

Actually, that could be any steam loco on a cold, damp morning. Sun Lane Bridge is not the best location for the first Santa of the day...

Hats off to Tangmere, Carnforth and her crews in getting 34067 back into what appears to be top form. What an accomplishment! Now I'm really glad a separate thread was started for her.

I've seen her out and about today, and I'm not sure is quite in "top form". She was making a remarkable lot of clanking, even under power, and lots of steam was escaping from somewhere around the smokebox or cylinder on the driver's side. I know Bulleids are prone to a bit of clanking, especially when coasting, but I've not heard anything like this when accelerating (Battledown, Tisbury, Salisbury) before.

Not good. Looks from above can be deceiving. Bad reputation seems to follow Tangy everywhere unfortunately at the moment.
