    IIRC the batch of oil-fired ng rack locos that SLM built in the 90's had some form of automatic boiler management so they could be one man operated. Ray.

    Only EP control of peripherals, though. Unless I've misread it, I don't think there is any auto control of the fundamentally important controls.
