Hmmm. Nothing a proper exhaust system wouldn't put right - might even burn a bit more of that fuel too ;)

34067 was on fine form yesterday and the whole crew did an excellent job especially with the short servicing time they had due to having to detach at donny to get away from the wires to get the coal forwards

My son and I watched her pull in to and leave Huntingdon yesterday morning, she only slipped the once leaving Huntingdon, on damp rails - I was a bit apprehensive about her making the climb away from the station, and up towards Abbots Ripton without assistance. The train was visible for quite some time until after she'd passed beneath the A141 road bridge.

Here's an atmospheric shot of her leaving Huntingdon...

Did any one else on the train see the lovely young lady in the field having her picture taken as the train went past ? I nearly spilt me tea.

Reminds of the time on the SVR when a young lady in a field was espied having much more than her picture taken. :)

Think of the Polar Bears! Any time now I expect to film greenpeace protesters tied to the line in front of it.
