Wadebridge is back fighting fit, following some TLC over the winter…. she always reminds me of the black knight from monty python "tis but a scratch"; shame she only has a year left on her ticket.

    ??????

As for the 9F - still sans pony truck - though according to today's fireman, was back in one piece until I pointed out the obvious.........

Doubt I'd want to run it as an 0-10-0............

34007 now benefitting from a new 3 to 8 lever which has put all 6 beats back. As others have said, a different engine. For those interested she was only not in use for about 3 hours between roughly 0700 Sat and 1800 Sun.

92212 having pony truck boxes re-metalled to take out uneven wear. Big end also worked on. Brake pull rod under repair and new ashpan to fit. A few more weeks yet.

Thank you for the update. I photographed Wadebridge at 22:00 on Saturday (and then 925 slightly later, unfortunately my lighting failed so no useable picture) then at 06:30 on Sunday when Richard used 34007 to shunt stock in Alresford before we set out for the rather gloomy and sometimes wet photocharter

22:00 Sat Night, 06:30 Sunday Morning (really 05:30 because of the start of BST)

Thanks to a heads up from Hampshire Unit ;):)

The Wagon Group today, achieved a long held aim, with the delivery of Queen Mary Brake S56302 to Alresford this afternoon! :):):)

So we now have the "missing link" in our much admired (and envied?...... ) freight rake.

I will aim to post a picture this evening, but suffice it to say the QM looks in absolutely spit-spot nick. They had just finished unloading it from the loader at Alresford cattle dock at about 14:30.

Very nice I agree. Perhaps in the future new sand boxes can be re-instated?

    Regards

    Thank you! :)

The Pway hut is up past Alresford outer home, so not publicly accessible. ;)
