All steam service for Easter, three locos in steam each day; Norwegian 376 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, USA No 65 on Monday.

Terriers 32678 and 32670 running all four days. A rare chance to see two BR black Terriers in steam on the same day. Come and see us!

Shouldn't you be preparing something Seagull?

Can you confirm that 65 is rostered on Monday, rather than Sunday? That's what the loco roster website says, but a tweet from @kesroperating says 65 on Sunday and 376 on Monday.

USA 65 is rostered on Monday to allow strengthening of the set to 5. A shame as I'm driving on Sunday and quite like the Yank!

Had I known about the two Terrier thing in advance, I would have headed for the KESR, but the morning of Good Friday is rather late notice for the Easter weekend.

Good day on Sunday. 32670 was particularly noisy on the two Mk 1s, especially that last run up Tenterden bank! Only a couple of shots, if I'd known the weather was going to be so nice I would've gone linesiding instead of travelling.

I was on the shovel on 32670 for the last trip, we had lots of steam so best use it!

Sorry that you missed out, the two Terriers running together hasn't happened all that often. The southern Steam Sunset over the late May Bank holiday will see the two Terriers as well as a newly repainted USA 30065 and visiting M7 30053, all in late BR black livery, hopefully you'll be able to make that one!

I was the person who got on at Wittersham Road on your way down on the last trip.
I was there both Sunday and Monday, a very well run event and good to see plenty of people about to help the railways finances.

Was very pleasantly surprised to see the M7 in action at Tenterden yesterday. Am I right in thinking that it's there for the rest of the month?

Yes, 30053 is scheduled to run bank holiday Monday and at the Southern Steam Sunset event over the late May Bank holiday weekend.

    Hello,
Is there any news on the restoration of GWR 20 DCR?
Nothing on the web site since 2013.....that I can find.
