Report on SVR forum that Taw Valley was in steam in Bridgnorth yard today. Running in should hopefully be imminent!

Looks great. Thanks for posting. The target for completion is the VSOE special on 16th May, isn't it? Assuming this deadline is reached, it would be great to have 34027 and 34053 in steam together over the following Bank Holiday weekend. It would make for a good long weekend for Bulleid fans - and there are plenty of them - with 34007, 34092 and possibly 35006 in light steam at the Glos-Warwicks, which is, after all, less than an hour's drive from Kidderminster

Excellent news, looking forward to seeing it whenever I'm next up; will definitely be there for the Autumn gala, I'm sure I'll manage a visit before then!

Didn't look too far away from being finished at Spring gala. But very nice to see all the same. Rather nice to see the Midlands will be a hotspot for Bulleids again.

Just a reminder this weekend has 3 steam and a Class 20 diesel service, plus an autotrain and admission to areas not normally open to the public, including Bridgnorth Locomotive Shed and a number of Signalboxes up and down the line. Standard fares apply http://www.svr.co.uk/SEItem.aspx?a=67

34027 passed it's insurance exam yesterday. Now for a few weeks of testing and running in.
34053, 2857, 43106 and D8059 on the main service trains, 1450 on the auto train and 4566 on display at Kidderminster.

Weather should be reasonable nice tomorrow though sunday might have some showers. Watch out for the jobs fair at Kidderminster tomorrow.

Excellent news, well done to the engineering team at the SVR & SDR (who carried out the extreme surgery on the boiler) & many thanks to Mr Swallow.

It really would fill the only hole the SVR has in a realistically possible way. Perhaps park next to the storage ones at BN?

It wouldnt go amiss, especially when you think of how many green sets made it up to Snow Hill on foot ex's. I do appreciate someone has to pay for this but with a certain Riddles 2-6-2 not to far away... Well it'd be nice wouldn't it?

How's about we see how the boys at North Star works feel about doing the work from the HLF on the 3 Bullieds you lot have and maybe swap you for 3 from the LMS set?! Maybe not but in an ideal world...

Says who? It cant happen for some while given more pressing work, and in any case it is a handy way of finding the dual braked carriages in the sidings.
