    They were meant to be making any extra parts required to look identical to the "real" Evening Star at York NRM, and why they gave permission to use the name and copy the original loco, doesn't seem to make sense for a museum about Railways rather than toy land.

    Jeez! You know what, totally forgot what 60019' s other number is. And no not at the sherry but in moving towards tap room territory couple bottles of Shepard Neame 'Brilliant' 5.6 and Hook Norton (7823) 5.3 so please forgive all 3 of my cells not firing in the correct order!

    He did, but you know, you do have to humour those think when he left Swindon he took a step down. You know the same lot who turn their nose down on things like enclosed cabs, superheaters and roller bearings that sort of thing :)

    Erm, chaps, you do know that this whole preservation things is kind of pretend, don't you?
    It isn't really 1958, they haven't actually restored a public transport service between say Loughborough and Leicester, those steam locos are basically toys, the passengers have come for a bit of make-believe nostalgic leisure/entertainment... And we need all the money we can bring in!
