Good to see that DBS have been able to step in as TOC for this one. Steam still goes on at Westbury, although the train now starts and finishes at Slough instead of Woking.

Two minutes early at Strap Lane, on the down leg, after being stopped (signal?) on Brewham Bank. Here she is accelerating away from the stop; the sound was awesome!

A quick shot from me of Britannia screaming through Castle Cary on the return run.

The train stopped at Westbury for a loco change on the return, but not in a platform road, so folks who had joined at Westbury had to travel on to Pewsey to get off. NR problems, according to my friend.

Unbelievably the NR issue seemed to have been a South West Trains 'route learning' train that was the only train that occupied P3 for a short time while we stood in the Up Reception loop. The conductor on the 2048 Padd-Plymouth kindly let us travel back to Westbury for free to let us get to Bristol on the 2110 Portsmouth-Cardiff Service. RTC had laid on a coach that had no chance of getting us to Westbury for the 2125 let alone the 2110.
