They're only allowed to "play trains" on a little bit of track up in Jockland & nowhere else - just in case they f&%k it up - remember, they're on probation, & this train is not under their remit - thank god!

I didnt know that, thanks for clarifying that. Anyhow back to Deltics! Yes it would be nice to see 9 with a winged thistle on the front with the pullmans. Such a shame that having paid so much for the privlige the punters wont be able to hear the noise it makes!

Eh?...... Are you seriously telling me, you haven't been keeping up?........ AFAIK its a DBS job - no mention of WCRC on RH tour page.

If a two tone is coming this way, I might even find time to go out & see the LE move even though it'll be through the mess that is the GWML..........

I'll believe you, though from where I'm sat it sounds quite different! (not being a yam yam!)

Anyway, enough of this - its nice to see images of Taw Valley out & about on test. :)

I hope she comes through better than the Q on the BB.......

VSOE stock is ECS from BH to KD by the 67. TV does indeed follow on a later train

Proof that she made it down........ a few shots taken this evening amid the mess that is now the GWML, passing through Iver.

    Replete with winged thistle too.

67 on the back the whole day. It's needed to drag the train out on to the mainline at Kidderminster before the Deltic takes the tour back to London.

There is a guest appearance by a 67. The deltic, having come off at Bewdley runs light to KD for servicing. The pullman stock runs ECS Bridgnorth to KD hauled by the 67. In the p.m. the deltic reataches to the BH end of the stock. This runs ECS toBewdley deltic hauled. Tour participants will join the train at Bewdley. The 67 will haul the train back to KD and out on to the mainline. The traun will reverse in KD mainline and be deltic hauled via Worcester and the Cotswold line

That should make TV work a bit, 10+ weighty pullmans and a dead 67.
