Was just wondering whether anyone could confirm a time for City Of Wells going down to CRC in the morning?

I would imagine P and O will go with her and get dropped off so it would be nice to see the pair together and see P and O 'running' for the first time!!!

0456 off Toddington ....lol, I'd think about 8:00 to 8:15 you are probably looking at as it's just a simple ECS down presumbly non stop apart from dropping the signalman off at Gotherington and then a run around ready for the 0905 service, although she will be facing the wrong way so not sure why you'd want to get a picture of the ECS for? (Assume you mean Sat/Mon, as it's 0935 Sunday). 35006 isn't in steam for the event and is being moved to Winchcombe prior to the event going off other posts on this thread.

That's a nice timetable. I wonder how long the rakes will be. I've never seen a pair of spam cans!

Yep, 6 is the maximum for galas to allow double heading in the existing track circuits, usually 7 on normal running days with a single loco.

Loco A departs Toddington 8:10, Winchcombe 8:19 Gotherington 8:30 at Cheltenham 8:40 non-stop all the way, although wouldn't be surprised if it did stop to drop off volunteers. As has been said, loco A will be facing the wrong way for that trip so not a huge amount of point - have a lie in! :)

Would I be right in thinking these movements are between Toddington at Winchcombe as per last year? And is the evening movement between the 1750 arrival and 1900 departure from Toddington on the Saturday?

Yes, the freight is stabled at Winchcombe overnight, in the morning locos C and D come down LE leaving Toddington at 8:45 arriving at Winchcombe 8:55, with one collecting the freight and taking it back to Toddington leaving at 9:15 and arriving at Toddington 9:25 to start the public diagram and the other remaining at Winchcombe; it says to Bay platform on my copy, but I understood it was coming to the C+W sidings? The evening movement is loco C taking the freight back to Winchcombe for the night, 17:25 off Toddington arriving at Winchombe 17:35, then returns leaving Winchcombe at 18:00 arriving at Toddington at 18:10 to go to bed.

I don't think there's anything else hidden on the public timetable I haven't already described now, apart from a couple of footnotes about what locos are supposed to be doing at specific places!

Ooh, very nice, bet it's been a while since that nameplate's been seen, certainly on the engine like that.

You know the names a right mouthful when even the Southern have used abbreviations on the nameplate

Don't forget to visit the narrow gauge at Toddington.
A ride on this often overlooked little gem (IMHO) is included with your ticket :)
Two engines in steam on each of the 3 days I read.
