    Evening All,

Unfortunately, I can't get to the 'Speed to The West' gala on the GWR this weekend, but I was down that way last week and had a couple of rides. I took lots of pictures and the first selection is now on Flickr; this is the first one in the Photostream if anyone would like to have a look :

Alternatively, they can be seen in this Album :

Hope that they are of interest.

Looks like I missed a good show; at least I was able to be there the previous week.

Some lovely photos there, thanks for sharing them. Great to see 2807 looking so good too. The images remind me just how much has been done since 1981 and personally, I think your shots of Winchcombe just convince me even more that this is probably the best looking station (at the moment anyway!) on the Line and the location is lovely of course. It also shows how much the Railway has been tidied up over recent years (I guess perfection in the eyes of some will never be achieved and that's understandable) and how much I miss not visiting there more than once or twice a year!

That was my first visit there, but hopefully not my last.

A few more pictures from my visit to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway last year are now on Flickr. A bit old hat now I know, but if anyone is still interested to see them this is the first one in the Photostream :
