    I stand corrected; I thought you had to have a Mark 2 at the front for protection in the event of a collision.

    Just to be pedantic Mk3 have been seen on a heritage line. SVR had a visit from Chiltern of their loco hauled Mk3 and DVT rake

    Also do MK3 sleepers count?

    The GCR (N) also has a set of three Mk3's now to for use with the prototype HST.

    Any idea if these coaches are loco haul mk3 coaches or HST coaches. Only asking because both types of coaches are different and aren't compatible with each other.

    They are loco hauled MkIIIs owned by the 125 Group. 41001 has conventional loco ETH kit rather than the 415V of an HST. Coaches (and 41001!) will be out running this weekend for the GCRN Summer Diesel gala.
