Back for it's FIFTH consecutive year, an event that has slowly improved getting bigger and better since the very first event back in 2010.

    FIVE pubs

    THREE stations

    TWO trains

    ONE railway

All within SIX-miles of the Churnet Valley!

Both Ale and Rail lovers alike can converge on the railway as we steam ahead with Rail Ale Trail Beer festival connecting in with local pubs in the area.

A joint effort with North Staffordshire's very own TITANIC BREWERY and Cheddleton's own STAFFORDSHIRE BREWERY, the Rail Ale Trail offers over 100 real ales and 30 plus ciders served between the bars at each of our stations, on-board our trains and at the local pubs who will be joining in with this event.

Tickets and timetables available online, discounts available if bought in advance.

Plenty of Crompton action for those of such interest. For anyone looking to stay overnight, a new Premier Inn has opened in Leek recently. Stayed there myself for Anything Goes, and tbf it isn't too bad. Not too far from the town centre but not too close to the main pubs either to help with a decent nights sleep!

I can work out the railway, the trains and the stations but an struggling with the pubs - The Railway at Froghall, The Black Lion at Consall and The Boat at Chedd. Where are the other two?
Be nice to include the Yew Tree but no track.

Is there some sort of transport link to the pub in Leek? Must be a couple of miles from the nearest CVR station mustn't it?

We did do a mini-bus link up until last year when the minibus we were meant to hire became unavailable. Still waiting confirmation if we have it this year, but part of the T&Cs Titanic sponsor us is we help promote their main pub in the area. Therefore no harm in doing so, and can only help with what is one of our biggest events of the year. There is a local bus service that does a circular route past Cheddleton station from Leek too, though can't remember the service number off the top of my head. And it only does 3x trips a day IIRC... If only we had a connection into Leek!
