Tornado went to the NVR today. The only train from the NVR tomorrow is a West Coast service to London Victoria. Anyone know why Tornado went to the NVR (as needed in London again soon) or what the train to Victoria is and finally, whether Tornado may now be operated again by West Coast? Perhaps I am adding 2 + 2 and getting 5, could this be Tornado heading back South?

Its still DBS operation only, but its clear that Tornado wont be limited exclusively to Belmond duties like clan line was.

 

The other service is The Royal Scotsman which comes in overnight about half a dozen times this year for overnight bearthing and servicing

Is 6233 sticking around in Crewe. The next came is not until next month unless I'm wrong.

 

I am told that Tangmere is on 5Z10 15:16 Southall WCRC to Ramsgate EMUD (23:05) today via Orpington and Canterbury West. It is not in RTT apparently so hasn't appeared yet at uksteam.info. But any info on progress would be welcome.

Also there is a turning move Southall to Greenford and back which could be 61306 I guess.

Edit: Now confirmed. There are several reports of Tangmere en route to Ramsgate. Presumably it is going for some attention at the depot ?

Assuming its not going there under its own steam? What facilities do they have that requires a trip to Ramsgate?

Worked it out, its been fixed and being stabled at ramsgate overnight so it can act as banker for mayflower tomorrow up the climbs to Shepherdswell and Sole street!

34067 took 68002, a Southern Region Motor Luggage Van, with it as well. Moves back tomorrow evening.
