:Arghh: I see this thread seems to be developing into one of these where you have to wade through numerous irrelevant posts if you've been away from the forum for a few days! :(

Meanwhile any further news on 6100?

Due to arrive at the SVR at the start of next week, test runs scheduled for the end of the week. Possible delays to the trailer move due to large thread drifts being forecast along the M6.

All important but non 6100 chat has now been moved away. Given that the re-emergence of 6100 is one of the most significant events for a while, let's try and keep the thread focused please.

Any sign of 46100 on the move yet? Not been so excited about a new loco running in on the SVR since 60009! :)

Me too I appreciate theres a few more important things to worry about before we get to ahead but I'd love to know what set it'll be running with at the gala hopfully the carmine and cream or the LMS set with Royal Scot coach boards. As I said I do appreciate theres a few more important things to worry about first like maybe getting 46100 to the SVR! But the small child in me that is getting rather excited!

Don't know how close to completion it is but the 'Porthole' brake at Bridgnorth appears to be going into BR maroon - that would look good added into the carmine and cream MK1 set with a Scot on the front

Erm, as far I'm aware it's the fund shop for BR & LMS coach fund. Certainly no compartments in it atm.

The internals are all there. The coach was repainted to BR livery to help it blend in and not look like a shabby shell of a coach. The paintjob is of outstanding quality considering it was done out in the open.

Currently two Reid Freight lowloaders are present on the Crewe Heritage Centre site awaiting loading with Royal Scot.

Very fine paint job indeed - would be good to see it run like this.

Just looked on the webcam, the tender is loaded and the engine is being winched on by the look of it.

Any estimates on how long it takes to get from crewe to Bridgo down the M6 with a Scot on the trailer?

Would have thought Kiddy would have been its destination, bit more room to unload there.
