I've got mine ordered - but because I didn't pull my finger out soon enough, i'll be getting mine when I arrive - I'll take a pen and paper me thinks and be ready to draw up a plan of action!

Also being daring and I've booked a campsite - everything else is booked up.

Can't wait for a belly full of ale and a sleeping bag for a bed...

Set L is the LMS maroon rake, set M is the mk1 maroon rake, set C is the mk1 crimson and cream rake, set N is the LNER teak rake, set GW2 is the great Western (pre and post grouping) chocolate and cream rake, set S is the Great Western dining train, and VV is the two carriages one LMS and one mk1 used for the venturer dining service. Don't know the code for the topflight, or if they are in use, hopefully my WTT will be waiting on my doormat when I get home.

Correct except the VV which is no longer using 7511 (the LMS coach) and is running with it's original FO again atm (3103).

If I go to the gala it would probably have to be on Sunday and the first train I could catch would be the 11.30 off Kidderminster (or the 12.34 if I fail to make 16 connection between New Street and Moor Street). Can anybody with a WTT confirm whether I will be able to do full line trips with both 46100 and 71000 (out with one, back with the other) after that time? Also, is the 12.34 a public service - the train at that time is normally diners only on Sundays - I hope the SVR won't have been daft enough to roster either of the "star" visitors on that train?

One of 70000 and 46100 are on the limited yes, which is the loco's final working of the gala. (On shed by 2pm... what a joke SVR!).

The other one does the 1402 KR-BH working (again it's last of the gala).

Not sure why the timetable is giving locos by BY1 etc seeing as there is a timetable for each day.

I think this gala is the poorest ASG the SVR have done, and I thought the 2011 one was bad! Will be the lowest visitor numbers I think.

Surely you can work out from above that it is on the limited or the 1402 ex Kiddie?

Does anyone know which way 34027 is facing during the gala? The working timetable says she will be facing North but the website says she'll be facing South!?

I think the diner is down to be half and half as it's running as 8 with the toplights on the front which only makes sense if it is also for regular passengers. And it being in the public timetable further suggests this.
