Any news on 7714, or is that waiting for one/both of 813 + 7802 to be finished?

The frames are on their wheels and the chassis is in front of the paint shop clear of the jacks, where the Standard 4 is now standing. Cyliders and valve chests boxed up. Otherwise, don't know.

Thanks for the reply. It's got me wondering just what has SVR Eng go on their books atm?

813 / 7802 coming to the end of their overhauls.
    7714 / 75069 / 42968 under way.
    Contract overhaul of Dunrobin.
What else is there ongoing at Bridgnorth?

The boiler shop notes in SVR news no. 190 (none in the latest 191) mentions that the boiler will move forward once 7802's boiler is complete which as that's in the offing it shouldn't be too long.

75069's boiler will progress once the boliers for 7802, 813 and 7714 are done.

In SVR news 190, the boilershop notes mention boilers for 41241 (from KWVR), no. 11 Maitland from IOMR, 779 from Bala and 1995 Caladonia in addition to the above. Also the boiler for W&LLR no. 10 was done this year at the vallley.

From speaking with a couple of mates within the boilershop in july. 7802 comes out. From indications 42968 will go in. 7714 comes out 75069 goes in. Somewhere within this is 4930 and after this months update. 82045's ikea flat pack boiler in the pipeline.

Sadly matt. 75069 will be in lined black as she hasnt carried the livery in preservation yet and 82 will be in lined green.

The whip round for 75069 starts here! :) I was told on here that the green it carried last time was a preservation first, it never carried green as a BR Machine

I don't think any of the Southern-based examples with the large BR1 type tenders ever did. 75027 and 75029 both ran in green in BR days.

That probably answers my 'what was the boiler on the wagon in the engine shed yard from?' question I was going to post after a day at the SVR for the Hymek/Clayton/Bulleids yesterday, thanks.

On a similar subject, what's the second boiler in the siding at the south end of the station? There's 42968 on the end, then another on a wagon behind that before the wagon with the tanks from Warwickshire and 813.

There was a laminated peice of card explaining what was 75069's boiler in the smokebox the other week. Is the Bullied boiler in the yard off 'Sidmouth'? I think it was used as a pattern for Mr Swallows beast.

With 4150 also to follow and, presumably at some point, the new boiler for 2047 'Warwickshire'

It's generally stored in the back of the carriage shed as there isn't space for it in the engine house yet.

The EMF's FB page reports that 7802's boiler passed its steam test on Monday. Also some nice pics on Heritage Painting's FB page of 7802's tender in lined green.
7812 and 2857 have returned from the WSR, while on the diesel front D7076 went back on Tuesday to the ELR and D8568 went today with the DMU centre car also going away for some work.
