Golden Valley Hobbies are going to announce a new OO gauge model loco at Warley. As it will be on the Oxford Rail stand I assume there is some kind of partnership. http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/in...valley-hobbies-to-announce-oo-loco-at-warley/

Hornby have put up this picture on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/officialho...07985842/10153171882495843/?type=3&permPage=1 I'm hoping it is the announcement of the 2016 range, rather than the announcement of the announcement (which would probably be this weekend at Warley).

Also announced are a 1/72 Manx Beyer Peacock and MER tram produced by Oxford Diecast for the IoMR shop. These will be static diecast models, but no doubt motorising them will be possible.

    £83 for a wagon ?

is it laden with gold ?

might be a limited edition of 1000, but unless I see pictures of the tooling (not the paint masks) being broken up, I will believe it's limited to as many as they can sell at some point in the future... and as we see in this industry.. if it looks like it will sell there's no guarantee someone else might make a new tooling of it in the future, regardless protestations of todays managers saying they won't.

I don't care how good or limited it is, I won't pay 83 quid for a wagon!, I could almost book a tour for that.
