RTT indicates that the Scot will be moving next Wednesday.

There is a Carnforth - Kidderminster l/e move tomorrow morning, followed by a Kidderminster - Crewe move (timed at 60mph max) and then a further l/e move to Carnforth.
This implies that if the Scot is moving tomorrow, it's going to be dropped off at Crewe. Not sure if this will be affected by today's developments in terms of the West Coast steam prohibition, but probably unlikely seeing as it will be a diesel hauled drag.

It is booked as the Scot's light test run (steam dragging diesel) Kidderminster - Crewe, doubtful whether it will be now tho.

As it has already done a high speed run, 50mph, on the derogated section Bewdley - Kidderminster there should not be any suprises. As it is just out of shops does it have the latest TPWS layout as Mayflower?

    You'd like to hope so..........

If it hasn't then I'm sure JH will have it fitted in a nano second, as at the mo its his only mainline loco, what with Brit being sidelined & the rest in the works!

Evidently the reason for the Scot being piloted, is that her paperwork was not complient as regards GSM-R, as it had been deleted from the NR list of complient locomotives ! It is to be reinstated in early January in time for a Crewe - Carnforth light test run, then a loaded test round the Carnforth-Hellifield-Preston citcuit.
It must be true, Its in Steam Railway...

Would that be heading to Carnforth David, as light test run followed by a loaded one?

A weekday path is always there, reserved by WC, just depends whether it's activated around 8am on any given day AFAIK.
Hopefully one day this week! Another question is whether both runs will be planned for the same day ie light and loaded.
