Possibly, though elsewhere as I say it says it will be steam for the Easter weekend. Also whilst CS1 is often quieter than CS2 (10.30 ex-KR), there are definitely times when there can be more than a 5 car DMU's worth on the train at some point during the day.

Yes I saw that, it said as such in the preview timetable for this year. However, I notice the final version is being printed as we speak so maybe that will shed some light on it. Certainly every other year when Table C is used over Easter the diesel turn is handed over to steam so it certainly does make you wonder.

An update has been issued today on the Bridgnorth redevelopment. With the additional reports requested now (all but) completed the submission of the planning application, invitations to tender and certain small preparatory re-siting works are imminent http://forum.svra.org.uk/viewtopic.php?p=48701#48701

Some more photos on the unofficial SVR FB page show the southern end of the relay with the track removed.
The water towers at Bewdley have scaffolding around them presumably for a repair/repaint, see: http://forum.svra.org.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3576

    Further information re Bewdley canopy:
New sheeting, valancing and guttering is being put into place. The longer valancing on the platform 3 side which was recovered from Snow Hill is planned to be conserved at Kidderminster Railway Museum.

Also at Bewdley, the old BR extension to the station building has been removed and a new extension will be built more in keeping with the rest of the station building. This is part of the planned rejigging of the station facilitates which will also see the removal of the current station buffet as that structure is rather dilapidated.

It's amazing how secret some stuff is kept. A nice NBI listing the planned work over the winter would have been good.

In other news, the submit button for the Bridgnorth redevelopment plans was pressed yesterday. Hopefully it won't take too long for Shropshire council to decide.

I've been off-railway for a couple of months so I've not got my ear to the ground. I can't claim it's all correct and I'm sure it's incomplete but I can think of:

Bridgnorth – Platform 1 extension (volunteer project)
Diesel shed fitting out (diesel volunteers)
Eardington bank – track relaying (volunteers involved)
    Highley Bank – resleepering (volunteers)
Bewdley Station platform canopy (not sure)
Bewdley Station – replacement of building/extension of porter's room (not sure)
Bewdley station water tower relining (not sure)
Bewdley South Viaduct - repointing the arch (not sure)
    Borle viaduct repointing (not sure)

    34053 middle cylinder
    7812 Valve & Piston?

Plus the myriad of other volunteer groups, apologies to any I've missed

Bewdley Platform canopy and Water tanks are contractors.
Not sure on the rebuilding of the BR extension for an improved messing facilities at Bewdley.
The repointing of both Borle and Bewdley South? Will I imagine be contractors.
Anything on 7812. Just check their FB page. SKP is both paid staff and volunteers along with 43106 V &P.
