Where does it say that WCR have a new safety managed (sic)? Does the source name a name?

I hope Digger Dawn hears this. She would be gutted if she went along again because she'd heard it was going forwards this time, only to find it's backwards again.

    ;)

Surely the award is for living so long without discernable signs of intelligence.

No idea Martin. But there were a lot of moaning minnies frothing about it. I was just glad to see an A3 in steam again. She sounds rather sweet, but the whistle is still quiet and weak.

Don't be! It's a simple enough capture. Was lucky to get something from the chimney there. Everyone else was further down, to get her opening up after the crossing...superb light this morning, even though it was quite cloudy

Beautiful photograph! Thanks for sharing with us.

I'm getting very pumped up - I keep checking the NRM site for the details of the first run out of king's cross. I'm at the point where I don't care how much it costs, I just want to be on that train...

FS has no steam heat pipe when running tender first so perhaps the 31 is there to provide heat to the rolling stock in the reported Baltic conditions.
