    There's always that I suppose but according to other posts NRM have publicised a P9 arrival so could be a bit too late to try and put the genie back in the box.

    The path for FS was on RTT a week or so ago for a short period and was then taken down. Actually two were shown with minor variations but the overall timings were consistent with a departure around 8 am (or before) and a York arrival soon after 1230. Looks like a bit of sleight of hand around the York information, and why not?

    M. I. 5 could take lessons from this thread, subterfuge amid secrecy, stock heading in wrong direction with false headcodes. Pax will probably arrive for a 7.47 a.m departure to find it 'went last night'!!!!

    A few years ago I was at York awaiting the arrival of the Duchess on a 'Day's Out' charter and enquired with a station manager which platform it would arrive at. He had a trainee executive with him, told me p10, the junior added, yes as far away as possible, dirty smelly annoying pests. That may be what we are up against.

    VT regularly run the few yards between Tyseley Steam Trust and Small Heath South Jcn at warp factor 5 too, one of the timing curiousity's where plenty of slack is given but rarely required.

    Just wondering, remembering the trespass problems that happened on Tornados first ECML run whether the actual timings are being witheld on RTT and OTT to avoid the same sort of problems, especially considering how popular Scotsman is.

    Am I right in thinking that timings for the Royal train are also witheld from public view?
