About a month ago I was told it was currently believed to be at Bristol Barton Hill depot.

Yes it was. That's why Sir Topham Hatt is the Fat Director in the first two books, written before nationalisation, and the Fat Controller from the third book onwards.

I thought Gordon was a Sodor rebuild of Gresleys original 1915 pacific design based on the Ivatt Atlantic.

There's a fundamental design problem with all LNER 8 wh tenders, as the A1 team found out, to their cost.

Anyone know of a jamming device to deal with these wretched things. I assume official action will only be taken when soemone is injured.

Clearly a completely useless pilot then. Perhaps, if not proper regulation, a basic training type thing for new drone users in a similar sort of fashion that scooters and bikes under whatever power it is have - fly round some cones etc?

Being kept busy by the Dutch police?............ ;)

Buckshot is a damn sight more permanent than eagle talon! :)

The damn things should be banned full stop.................. or maybe Gideon should rejig his budget & impose a driving test, licence & a annual tax on them at silly money?.................... they should be for military & police use only - I hope the numpty is made a very public example of.

Not sure I agree with jamming as that might make them even more dangerous, although fully concur with the sentiment, they should be banned.

Wait until the outcry, when a drone get too close to the overhead cables, and causes disruption.....
