NYMR - about 1/3 on day one, not all released at first but gradually released and just under 90% sold by the end of 2015.

SVR have sold rather quicker, but I believe a couple of days less!

Don't worry, I hear that FS has been booked on to the WSR for 2017 - the REAL test on a heritage line...;)

I wonder if there is scope for FS to do a short fill in turn during its layovers at BN.

On the first trip it arrives at c09.15 and departs again c12.45 and on the second trip arrives at c15.45 departs at c19.15, so there a 3-3.5 hrs layover both times. I would have though a BN-HL/HY trip could be squeezed in during that time. This would generate even more cash for the SVR and might help satisfy those who didnt get a ticket during the 'trolley dash' earlier in the week.

It depends on the exact nature of the agreement. At one stage, it was rumoured to be 2 round trips a day (plus light engine moves). The staggering of the trips gives effectively 2 round trips.
I think similar limitations have occurred previously.

needs 3 hours inbetween to make sure it can cope with another run, the hype will die down eventually happens with all locos, when they first come back, Shame night runnings been caped due to this.

See that following the "mess" an apology has been issued.

Amazingly not as many comments/replies to this as there was to other postings...

I've just noticed looking at the prices for the "normal" tickets, it says "This ticket will permit access to all of our stations and unlimited travel on other trains." Does this imply you have to buy a normal ticket even to visit the stations now?

It was announced previously that for this event access to Kidderminster and Bridgnorth stations will be for travel ticket holders only; access to other stations will be ticket-only, but the station masters may sell platform tickets at their discretion. Hopefully the intentions of the individual stations will be made clearer before the event.

(I can't recall where that was announced, unfortunately, to double-check my memory of it, but most is in the ticket T&Cs. Can't find any reference to BH - I might be wrong about that bit.)

Correct, though a lot of the details are yet to be decided at the moment.

My probable spot isn't mentioned either but then I suppose I wouldn't be able to see much from Edinburgh ;)

Good grief, looks like they're about to take out a tank or something.
Still, we won't have any of those on stations as it's clearly on a tripod....
