Hope Dave's wrong and there isn't a box in tow on both.

 

No sign of any light engine moves at Victoria or Windsor, so safe to assume there'll be a diesel on the back the whole day.

 

She's returning to Carnforth on Friday, and the Cathedrals Express website reads the 23rd (Saturday) is now diesel hauled.

There was doubt expressed about the viability of that one on here some time back, gauging issues?

 

No run round loops at Windsor as I recall, so unless that changed it will need to be T&T.

'Uksteam' site still shows Saturday's trip as steam-hauled. What a shame that 'Galatea' is to be pushed round the Surrey hills - it would have made a fine run.

The loco release crossover was removed quite recently I think.

Has something happened to these trips? They have been removed from the SD bookings page and they weren't full up yesterday. It's a bit odd that they have been taken down. They usually keep the booking option up until the day of the trip.

The plot thickens............... Two diesels (Class 37 + 47) reported moving from Carnforth to Crewe on the LE moves thread on the movement expected to be that of 45699................

Edit: 45699 reported as FAILED at Carnforth this morning in the LE thread.

 

A bit like Tweedbank but nobody complained about 60009 being shoved around by a 'Skip' last summer!!!
