Seems like some of the pictures are the same too... Either way, I'm amazed Stuart has still got time to post to that facebook page, given how busy he must be on research and planning for this 3-CIG.

I think it's very cruel the way the 3-Cig project has become the butt of so many jokes, anyone would think it was at the fag-end of preservation, no more than a smoke and mirrors project.

Well I'm expecting news to filter thorough any day now that it has risen from the ashes, even though it will cost a packet! Of course unless we all get behind it, it may be snuffed out again and become a case of close, but no cigar.

Given the rise of 'vaping' will Stewart's group now also take on the 4-VAP (sorry, 4-VEP)? Or is the whole thing just vapour and no substance?

I'm sure it was said in jest, but the 4VEP is looked after by a group with industry contacts, extensive experience and a sound understanding of just what is involved. Mr Reeder might wish to consider how he stacks up against those three criteria.

Why is it that when it comes to EMU's the only picture that comes to mind is Rod Hull wrestling with Parky?

Crowd funding looks to be going well. https://www.gofundme.com/fuq8az9w?u..._content=campaign_link_t&utm_campaign=welcome
What happened to the other money from the other campaigns that were set up and then disappeared? Every time you start up a campaign you are putting the website and crowdfunding as a whole into doubt as whether the money will actually go to the project specified, due to the sums you suggest and the lack of evidence to back it up, have you contacted the owner they might not want to sell now.

One donation of £250 by S Reeder himself thus far.

Interestingly according to the FB page "As of 28th March 2016 our fund sits at £265!" ... so where has the £15 gone?

The £250 is an amalgamation of several donations on the old justgiving/crowdfunding websites. It is quite misleading of Mr S Reeder Esq to have submitted this total as coming from himself.

Give the guy a break - of all his many and varied sins, that has to be one of the least important. Now, if there were a couple of zeroes at the end of the number, and he'd implied it was all his own, that would start to matter.

As it is, it just confirms that there might be the money to pay Hornby for 2 models.

Why ask that question, when it appears Stuart is involved in your group? Surely be easier to ask him direct...

Sorry but I disagree. It shouldn't matter if it's 25p or 25k - the source of the money should not be misrepresented.

From the "2859 Supporters Page" (Stuart's dream)

That's the end of that then....

What a shame it isn't still pre-recession. A nice Icelandic banker would have been able to lend them any sum they wanted, without any sort of a deposit, security or business plan!:confused::rolleyes:

We are the 2859 Team, and nothing to do with Mr Reeder.
