I've just noticed on 55022 twitter page that 55007 (55022) and 26038 will not be arriving until Friday. I don't know if that affects their scheduled runnings on the NYMR on the Friday or not.

    Steam: 45428, 62005, 63395, 76079, 80072 - 100% of what is available.

In an ideal world 44806 and 61264 would have been ready now and possibly 45212 would have arrived. but c'est la vie.

Diesel: D7628, 26038, 37264, 55022, includes 100% of the serviceable home fleet and two guests that are here to help out for the rest of the season to allow D7628, 37264 so well earned TLC.

This is what I posted on the NYMR Forum:-
As expected 80072 has bowed to the inevitable.
It has been sent home as it was facing the wrong way and has been replaced by another loco that faces the correct way (according to Grosmont)
    Back end to the North.

80072 has disappeared and 80126 has arrived.

In the old days they used things like triangles and turntables......so which do you think NYMR have?

I was under the impression that the turntable was temporarily out of action for repairs to the locks. but apologies if I was wrong.

Looking forward to my annual jaunt to the Moors for the Spring Gala today. Another chance to walk the Rail Trail (downhill) and renew my acquaintance with the Birch Hall Inn, a bottle of Beck Watter :Wacky:and a Beck Hole Butty:Hungry:; try to visit the Grosmont Bookshop without spending too much money:eek:, wander around Grosmont Shed:Peeking:.

Best of all, the chance to watch, and listen, to the freight going up Goathland bank:Jawdrop:.

    Lovely, can't wait.

PS any news on where the return of the J27 has got to?

Was told it suffered a regulator fault on the Pullman last night. Had to be rescued and didn't get back to Grosmont until around 1am apparently!
