Why does website show D7076 instead of D832? In service today, is the hymek even there.

 

Have spoken to the person in charge of the website, and he is, as they say, looking into it.

What an excellent day Saturday was.

Packed trains (standing room only) sunshine, great beer festival, drivers playing to the crowds, with people in good spirits and a wedding party who reserved a coach to get them from Corfe to Harmans to add a touch of romance. Some excellent horn work from the driver of the Warship, playing here comes the bride.

Enjoyed half hour in Corfe box watching the world go by with Mike Whitwham, cracking stuff.

Only downside was the shocking timekeeping. One departure was 4 minutes late from Swanage! Right time Harmans Cross though.

Well done to every one involved.

Oh, Rumpole, was there a concerted effort to ensure no Hi viz on the platforms? It was noticeable and very welcome. Sorry I couldn't stay and chat, only had time to tell you to keep smiling.

 

Quick Gala news flash. The 1740 ex-Swanage will run with 20 142 alone.

Just home after a fantastic weekend of late turns at Seanage box for the diesel Gala. A privilege to be part of a great crowd working together to put on a good show.
