There was one at Durham, which is probably one too many.

Rather than ban the engine, how about catching, arresting bringing to court those stupid enough to trespass and fining them what ever the fine was for the disruption divided by the number of trespassers in the dock? several mass trespass actions might make the idiots think about their actions if it hits them in their own pocket s. prehaps NR should send a Q train, equipped with video down first to catch them out running in the path and have FS follow in its wake ?

That's called policing and I'm afraid they gave up on that years ago. Try driving on a completely clear motorway at the dead of night doing 90mph and it might be different though.

And the absolute minimum of policing is required. Many on NP could tell the BTP a choice of exactly which foot crossing to go to. Half a dozen £1000 fines given maximum publicity is the way to tackle this menace.

So EWS shadowed 60103 with a box when they were in charge but now it's back in WCRC's hands the box is attached. Given how the NRM reportedly don't want to overload their star turn, I wonder how much assistance she'll get.

It's needed in Scotland for Tweedbank so it goes with the train and I presume saves a path.

I appreciate the unique nature of Tweedbank but it's a shame that 60103 couldn't go it alone today.

Running about 10 minutes late into North Northumberland. Fortunately the forecast cloud never showed for a change. IMG_6319-1000web.jpg
