The 2-6-2T with high steampipes looks like one of the Beyer Peacock s built by the Mersey railway and bought by the Alexander Docks Railway and then to GWR. The dome I think suggests 1209 (see RCTS photo K27)

I think the stationary 0-6-0ST is ex Bristol and Exeter 77, later GWR 1360. Most likely location might be Swindon Carriage dept, according to RCTS it was there from 1927 until cut up in 1944. (See RCTS photo C132).

I believe the 2-2-2 is ex LNWR 1868 ex GJR 49 Columbine, built 1845 and preserved.

The fifth one is ex Grand Jc Rly No 49 'Columbine' now part of the National collection. Looking at the steps up to the cab and the garb the photo was, perhaps, taken at either the centenary of the S&D in 1925 or, more likely, the Liverpool and Manchester in 1930 - just an idea.

Edit - Jim just beat me to it!

Neil, would it be possible to just have one thread of photo ID requests and update that each time you have more, rather than starting a new thread each time?
