I won't be going on many trips at all then. They are just getting way out of my budget. I am on the June 11th Dartmouth Express so will have to make the most of that trip.
Will have to keep an eye out for the more interesting trips in future.

Having said what I said, the Bognor Belle and steam through New Street to the Lickey might deserve a dip into my savings, or a booking whilst I'm still in my current position...

It states Oliver Cromwell at the top of the page, although I have spotted where Tangmere is mentioned.

It would be bettter if 44871 and 45407 which are rostered for the Worcester Trip on the 26/11 hauled the Marches Trip (an 70013 hauled the Worcester trip)otherwise i can see a Diesel on the back for the return up the Lickey.

Well, my money is on the tour not even running, as I reckon the new station at Bromsgrove will not be steam gauge freindly ! That will put a stop to anything steam related going up or down. This is just my paranoid opinion, I hope I'm way off !

Good point, so let's see if NR have upped their game. I doubt it, but hope springs eternal...

Sadly the website remains inaccurate. On the Bognor Belle page it says
"We will be steam hauled by British Rail built Pacific 4-6-2 No. 70013 Oliver Cromwell"
    but further down
"As we head towards the coastline at Brighton, Braunton should be able to run at its maximum speed"

Doubly inaccurate. I wasn't aware that British Rail had built any steam locos, much less Oliver Cromwell.

Wow, those are some big price rises, even the Tin Bath is £109, that was £69 when I travelled only 4 years ago. Not sure I can justify that sort of cash, makes the Scottish Lowlander and Scot Commemorative look very good value all of a sudden and I am glad I have done as much as I have the last few years.

Re the Tin Bath I've done it twice in the past, a varied and interesting tour. I go with my partner so £218 for the tour plus travel to a boarding point which would be Manchester for us around £37 return for 2 = £255 for a day out.... not going to happen anymore I'm afraid :(

I wouldn't mind 46115 or a Jubilee on the return leg as there doesn't seem to be much chance of SR loco's appearing on it at the moment......

A loco is needed for the SD trip to Worcester, and they currently list 6201.
