Does anybody know why Braunton has been moved from Southall to Bristol?

Just a guess but is she being added to the Torbay Express and Royal Duchy pools?

What makes you think that Braunton is at Bristol? Have you been looking at uksteam :-
    Fri 15-Jul 34046: Southall-Bristol [Times] E+C

The above working was to haul the Cathedrals Express from Bristol to London after the loco missed the outward leg.

I don't know of any other workings of the loco transferring to Bristol after Friday.

    Hope this helps. <BJ>

34046 is still at Southall (I think). Its next turn is to Canterbury on Sun 24-Jul (subject to gauging).
