Surviving nineteenth century standard gauge locomotives

    I'm trying to compile a list of all surviving standard gauge locos in this country from the nineteenth century, but somewhat surprisingly, I can't find a single online source, especially of non-mainline locos.

    So far I have 87 on my list (not including replicas, nor locos built in the twentieth century to nineteenth century design, such as 30053).

    Can anyone see anything obviously missing from the list?

    A couple more-

    Fox Walker 358 of 1878 "Minnie"

    Hunslet 469 of 1888 "Hastings"

    Both at Mangapps.

    I can think of a couple more Fox Walkers, the one at Bristol and "Karlskoga" at the Nora Railway in Sweden. Also, I'm sure that the Nielson crane tank "Snipey" at Lytham-St-Annes is pre 1900. If you are including British built locos abroad, there is an ancient Bayer-Peacock 2-2-2 at Gavle, Sweden, a Robt. Stephenson 0-4-2 in Norway and another Stephenson at Mulhouse, France.

    yes Pontyberem is 1900 although you could argue that is nineteenth century as the first century was presumably year 1 to 100 and thus 19th would be 1801 to 1900 (pedantic hat off)

    For the Liverpool & Manchester Rly only parts of the original Novelty survive but were incorporated into a replica. You could say that only parts of Rocket survive, although there are far more of them and they're far more substantial bits.

    Maybe, but it makes discussion about relative numbers easier if you define the decades as e.g. 1820 - 1829; 1830 - 1839 etc., which means finishing in 1899 - the reason I'm interested is to test a hypothesis for a discussion currently underway on the railway, for which I want to be certain of my facts.

    Thanks for all the suggestions; do keep them coming. I'm away from home at the mo. but will incorporate the suggestions and update the main list later tonight with any luck.
