Been looking around on RTT and have found something interesting,

On Friday 5th either 46233 (most likely) or 6201 will move from Butterley MRC to Southall WCR, then the next day (Saturday 6th) moves with presumably ECS from Southall to Bishops Lydeard via Bristol TM, this could be in connaction with The Royal Duchy tour on the Sunday, but that's one to keep a keen eye out for

6201 is going nowhere at the moment.

...and 46233 returns from Bishops Lydeard to Southall on Monday 8 August after hauling the Royal Duchy from Taunton to Par and back on Sunday 7th.

Nothing has necessarily changed. Don't forget that the clearances required vary depending on how long has passed since the route was last measured. This can lead to all sorts of apparent anomalies !

That's a long day tomorrow - over 12 hours on the road, plus the prep and disposal time.

Given the lack of long stops on Saturday, I presume there's a DL pilot

Diesel pilot or not, it'll be good to see the Duchess in the west country once again on Saturday.

Not a bad birthday present for my good self. :) <BJ>

Actually, looking at the details of Saturday's move (on UKsteam.info, for instance), I think it's just loco and support coach. The ECS for the train heads to Bristol separately, as far as I can tell. In which case, 11 mins at Challow is probably the only top-up needed.

I've heard a whisper of 60163 running 1200 Sat Stewarts Lane - St Philips Marsh.
Any service will be VSTP (Under Control Arrangements) so there probably won't be a schedule live on Real Time Trains.

    Cheers, Neil

Hmm just set up for a lively dusk shot at Hanwell, and the duchess has just taken an alternate road on the down main, three platforms away
