What a fantastic bonus to the steam rally. If I wasn't going already i would reading the latest news.

Thought you got a free programme with online tickets, as with last year's event. And sure it stated on website After acquiring at the ticket gate after getting my orange wristband was told it was £1. Have left wallet at home and have no cash and now no idea as to the arena exhibition times. Bad start to day.

I'm sorry you were disappointed but I don't think it was stated on the website for this year.

Went en famille. Domestic Facilities Management who is a great fan of the Dorset Show thought it was excellent, our boys (6&7) had a great time and ended up with filthy feet (They were wearing Crocs)

They particularly liked passing a traction engine on the pump trolley - oh and although there are no traction engine rides (idea for next year) we asked a young lad on a miniature engine if they could have a ride and he just said jump on.

An excellent day and good value

I also managed to see both specials on the main line and also the three steam locomotives in operation on the WSR - a veritable steam feast!

Norton triangle is a great site for steam gala, having rails there for stuff to display and use. Great to be near mainline.
