Being my favourite steam loco I have many more shots of 6024 King Edward 1 than any other loco so I have pulled together a few shots of the King that I have not used in other videos .. The video shows the King at various locations around its old stamping ground of the Western regiion and a few other places.

Had my early morning cuppa watching this compilation. It's excellent., really good quality. I recognised Twerton Tunnel as I've been there once.I think Dawlish must be one of the best locations (up on the rock or trackside) no matter where along the front to Star Cross or Teignmouth you go. A lovely area to live in too. Also liked the nighttime shot….Bath/Bristol station, I think. Thanks for posting, given my day a great start.

Thank you for your comment John.. theres more to come when I get round to editing my tapes. I didnt put captions for each location as it would have taken up a lot of the video so I hope people can recognise where they are.

I'll keep my eye on here then,Nick. Looking forward to them. Most videos are just 30 seconds or so long so doing a compilation is really worthwhile and I think it's a good idea doing it for one loco whenever possible. It works well. Maybe when you post the next one you could just mention in the introduction text where a particular location is like Twerton Tunnel or the stations which are easily recognisable locations as the video plays , out in the countryside or any other miscellaneous location wouldn't be so easily identifiable so no need to mention them. It's not taking up video space but the viewer on here would then know and I think that makes a difference.

Wow. That's great., thanks. I'll go through them all. I clicked on the first link and immediately saw the white terrier. What a character..lol. Lovely little dog. I'll show it to my wife. We had two retrievers. Hamish (my wife is from near Kilmarnock, Ayrshire) and Ben so I know she'll want to see this video.

    Cheers,
    John
