190 'Lyd' on artic on A483 at Ruabon this afternoon; presumably heading for Minffordd, as the lorry took the Llangollen junction. Where had it been?

Thanks; seems odd that it was heading south at Ruabon but I guess the hauliers go up the M6 as far as the M56, then head south at Chester. Personally I think I would go M6, M54, A5 (but I guess they know their business better than I do!)

They are based in Stoke-on-Trent and I suspect she stayed overnight in their yard - it's a long way from North Wales to Devon in one hit!

TPO 80377 was delivered to Ribble Steam Railway from Kirklees on Thursday 6th October, required large crane at Kirklees to lift the body from bogies, & then re-unite on low loader.

TPO is due to become a static Museum exhibit, open to the public shortly.

Blood & Custard Mk.1 seen on A38 going south today. Looks to have been partly overhauled. Any idea of where to?

Not be able to match anything to this as yet. Is it possible to say where on the A38 and the haulier involved?

No idea of the haulier; I just saw it going past as I was heading north. Can't remember exactly where but it was on the A38 somewhere between Brum & the M1. Probably around 14.30-15.00. Although basically in blood & custard, significant areas had received an application of a metal primer,

Last week I saw a loco heading southbound on (I think) the M5. Looked to be an 0-4-0WT, similar to 'Willy' based at the Flour Mill, but unrestored.
    Any ideas?

Could well be. I seem to remember that there was a bit more primer on but that could well be the case with the other side.

Unfortunately FO 3097 can be ruled out as it arrived at Eastleigh Works some weeks prior to the A38 sighting.

The A38 carriage still remains a mystery.
