    Can anyone clarify the timetable being run tomorrow please? The website lists departures from Havenstreet at 10.35, 11.50, 13.50 & 15.05 and from Smallbrook at 11.02 & 12.09 only. The talking TT line wasn’t working today and the general number said the railway was closed. The Island Line trains seem to be calling from about 10.30 to 15.30. I don’t want to venture over from the mainland to find a very limited service & connections at Havenstreet. Any info greatly appreciated.

    Just to say fifty years ago today the Isle of Wright rail system ran its last BR steam service. Anyone got any photos from that last day of steam.

    I am going over to do some work at the museum and aim to catch the 11.02 ex Smallbrook and return on the 15.05 from Havenstreet. The latter will remain at Smallbrook to ensure the electric train remembers to stop and, if it does not, to return passengers to Wootton, where they can get a bus.

    PH - Thank you for this info. Looks like the website is a touch vague on the timings.
