    I can't say the garden at Station House, Stogumber is looking it's best at the moment;), the weather was a bit grey today, and there is a distinct lack of trains, but then these little chaps pop up to remind us that there is an exciting year to come......

    you mean concrete blocks. breeze were made from residual product - coke breeze i e very small bits from screenings -- from the old gas works after the war

    However Hemelite produced fly ash filled concrete blocks in Hemel Hempstead up to the early 1980's , now made elsewhere under the same brand name.

    They were also made using the waste from China Clay production in Cornwall. Not sure if this is still so?
