Hardly a waste of time with £120k plus and a controlling interest in 4160ltd at stake.

I rather think @staffordian was commenting on their use of the word perusing, as opposed to pursuing...

I think you missed @staffordian's sly joke at the phantom scribbler's lack of proof-reading skills (peruse / pursue)

Quite so. Used twice in two consecutive paragraphs, which suggests to me that it is less likely to be a typo, more a case of illiteracy...

    Apologies.

Always a risk of taking such matters too seriously!

    I agree with your analysis.

The members gave an overwhelming indication at the AGM that action should be taken if legal advice suggested that there is a good case to be argued. The current trustees also have a duty under Charity Law to protect the Charity's assets.

Sorry, I was actually (rather poorly, it seems) trying to ridicule the grammatical ineptitude of the site's author.

I quite agree with you and Robin about pursuing them.

It's easy to have a 'pop' at we barristers but one thing the bar is very strong on is taking personal responsibility for things we do. Documents, for example, created by us have to be signed personally.

That gives me a problem with an aspect of the 'hysteria' site. It is relatively easy to discover to whom it is registered, and to who's address, and yet the creators of this work of fiction never put their name to anything.

    Wonder why that might be?

Thanks - it would be quite easy to have a sense of humour failure about what they got up to.

The intention is to pursue them for their purses, of course......:)

Yep, someone doesn't quite understand how easy it is to read the data underpinning a web page. In reality, I think it is rather like the English cricket team on a bad day. Two people bashing away at the crease with nothing to show for it.
