Work stained or not there is nothing quite as beautiful as a Bulleid [except an unrebuilt one]

Anybody know why it's at Ropley? Too early for the Bulleid bash on 1st July surely.

According to the MHR Facebook page which was updated today she is visiting for some routine maintenance.
My Father spoke to a WCRC employee at Guildford who said she is at the MHR until around the 14th June.

Not sure. I guess she would need to be run in/tested before going back on the ML. Fingers crossed she is rostered for War on the line. The Worcester trip may be 60009. At the moment 34052 is booked for a Dartmouth Express at the end of June as 6023 will not be available for ML work until at least the end of the year (see latest update in 6023 thread).

Seems odd to invest in a spanking maintenance base and buy a business to do it, the send the locomotives elsewhere?

It might be too busy at Crewe at the moment. Ropley is also a bit nearer to Southall than Crewe!

Interesting. So 34052 doesn't need to leave the MHR until after 1st and 2nd of July. Hopefully she might take up some extra work on the MHR.

There is a BBP on 16 June that it might be needed for if Clan Line isn't ready, though Royal Scot could also cover it, as it is booked to on 1 July.

Does anyone know when Tornado will be leaving the Bodmin and Wenford Railway? I can't see anything on RTT yet.
